In short

How can I make practice tests from my notes?

Upload your notes, slides or readings to One-click Teaching. It organizes them into topics and creates practice tests with multiple choice, true/false and open questions, plus audio or video explanations of each topic, all from your own material. It works for high school and university subjects, and you see the token cost of a PDF before it is read.

How it works for students

Your own study space, where you are the learner.

  1. Create your study space

One space for you, with a course for each subject.

  2. Upload your material

Slides, PDFs of readings, photos of your notes, web pages or recorded classes.

  3. Learn with explainers

A character explains each topic in audio or video. Listen anywhere and ask what you did not get.

  4. Test yourself

Generate practice tests on the topics that matter, and mark what you have mastered.

How the knowledge base worksOli · 0:57
Read the transcript

Hi, I'm Oli! The knowledge base turns everything in your repository into topics, in the order they're learned.

Tap Organize from repository. You get a proposal, and nothing is saved until you've reviewed it.

In Edit, move, rename or add topics, then Save version. Every save stays in the Changelog, so you can always go back.

Something in Unfiled? It usually hasn't been read yet. Transcribe it in the repository, then make another version.

Suggestions finds the gaps: missing topics, basics not covered, or an order that makes learning harder. A missing topic is added in one click.

Your tests and explainers are built from these topics, so time spent here pays off everywhere.

Two weeks before the biology final

Lucía is in her first year at university. Her cell biology final covers 6 lecture slide decks and two chapters of the textbook.

She uploads everything to a new course. The knowledge base lays it out in topics: membranes, transport, cell respiration, the cell cycle.

Every day she listens to one explainer on the way to campus and takes a short practice test at night. The open questions make her write the answers in her own words.

By the end of the first week she knows which three topics need more work, and spends the second week on them.
