One-click Teaching is used by adults to teach children and to study. We collect as little as we can, we never sell data or show ads, and the material you add stays private to you. This page explains exactly what we keep and why.

Who we are

One-click Teaching (oneclickteaching.com and app.oneclickteaching.com) is run by Xbuilders LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Newark, Delaware, United States. We are responsible for the personal data described here.

For anything about your data, write to info@oneclickteaching.com.

The short version

  • Accounts are for adults. Learners never create an account or give us an email.
  • Your repository, knowledge base and learners are visible only to you and the team members you invite.
  • We use your content only to provide the service, including sending it to AI providers to create what you ask for.
  • We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or build profiles of children.
  • You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to us.

What we collect

About you, the adult who holds the account:

  • Account details: name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash) or your Google sign-in.
  • Setup answers: your role (parent, tutor, student…), subjects, goals and preferred language.
  • Payments: Stripe or Mercado Pago process your card or account. We never see full card numbers; we keep a record of what you bought and when.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and error reports, used to keep the service secure and working. We also note which link brought you to us (for example, an invitation).

What we collect about learners

You decide what to enter about each learner. The app can hold a name or nickname, an avatar, gender, a birth year or age range, a school year and your notes. A first name or nickname is enough: please add only what you need to teach them.

When a learner uses a test or an explainer you shared, we keep what they enter: the name they type, their answers and score, and the questions they ask an explainer with its replies. If a learner speaks a question, their own browser turns the speech into text; we receive only the text and never record their voice. Depending on the browser, its maker (for example Google in Chrome) may process that audio under its own policy.

Progress notes you write about a learner are kept with their course.

Children

One-click Teaching is meant to be used by adults. A learner profile must be created by the child’s parent or legal guardian, or by a tutor or teacher who has the guardian’s permission. By adding a learner you confirm that you have that right.

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children other than what they enter in a test or explainer an adult shared with them. We do not use children’s data for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than giving their adult the results.

Test and explainer links work for anyone who has them, so share them only with your learners. These pages are marked so search engines do not list them.

If you believe a child’s data was added without permission, write to us and we will delete it.

Your content

Files, photos, documents, web pages, videos and text you add stay in your private repository. We use them to build your knowledge base, tests and explainers, and for nothing else.

When you share a copy of a course or test with another adult, they receive the topics, tests and explainers, never your files, notes or learners.

How we use data

  • To provide the service: storing your material, building courses, generating tests and explainers, and showing results.
  • To bill you and keep your token balance.
  • To send account and payment emails (always), and tips or reminders, which you can turn off at any time.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the product is used so we can improve it.

Who processes data for us

We work with these providers, who process data only on our instructions and only to deliver their part of the service:

  • MongoDB Atlas (database) and Amazon Web Services (file storage and email delivery).
  • Vercel (hosting of the website and the app).
  • AI providers, to read material, write tests and explanations, and transcribe: Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq and xAI.
  • ElevenLabs (character voices and transcription), and HeyGen and Magnific (video and images for explainers).
  • Stripe and Mercado Pago (payments), Google (sign-in with Google, and Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager for usage statistics) and Sentry (error reports).

AI providers and your content

When you ask for something to be created, the relevant part of your content is sent to an AI provider to produce it. We use them through their API services for businesses, under which they do not use your content to train their models; they keep it only for a limited time, to provide the service and prevent abuse. Web pages you add are read by our own servers. We do not use your content to train AI models of our own.

Where data is stored

The database is hosted on Amazon Web Services in São Paulo, Brazil, and files and the service itself on Amazon Web Services in Virginia, United States. Some providers above process data in other countries. When data leaves Argentina, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Your account and content: for as long as you keep your account. When you delete content, its files are deleted too.
  • On the free plan, files left unused for a long period may be removed, always after an email warning.
  • When you ask us to delete your account, we delete its data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and your learners’ data, or object to a use of it, by writing to info@oneclickteaching.com. We answer within the time the law sets.

In Argentina, personal data is protected by Law 25,326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública is the authority that receives complaints about breaches of data protection rules. If you live elsewhere, you may have similar rights under your local law.

Security

Connections are encrypted, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access to data is limited to what each part of the service needs. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you.

Cookies and storage

The website and the app use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which steps people take: which pages are opened, which language and buttons are chosen, when an account, a course or a test is created, when material is added, a test is finished, a link is shared or a payment is made, and how many days have passed since the account was created. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga) to tell one visit from the next, and Google receives the device’s IP address and browser details to do so. This also applies to pages learners open, such as a shared test or an explainer.

We never send Google names, email addresses, the titles or content of your material, a learner’s answers or anything a learner types. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not link it to advertising profiles. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or with Google’s opt-out add-on, without losing anything in the service.

The app also stores your session and preferences (such as language) in your browser so it can keep you signed in and remember your choices. When you pick a language on this website, a cookie (oct_lang) remembers it for a year, so visitors from Argentina are not sent back to the Argentine version.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
